A circle has no beginning or end.

Everything finds its place around a centre, always within reach.

That became the idea: bring the things you use most directly around you.

The inspiration came from exploring different radial and ring based apps. I loved the concept, but wanted more freedom to shape the experience around my workflow while keeping it polished, elegant, and effortless.

      So I built it myself.

      One gesture.

A different way to keep things close.

      Questions

      What is Qark?

Qark is a native macOS radial menu. It puts your favourite apps, files, links, shortcuts and actions in a customizable ring around your pointer, so the things you use most are quick to reach.

How do I open the ring?

Hold Control, Option and R, move onto an action and let go. Prefer clicking? Switch to Tap and click in Settings.

What can I put in the ring?

Apps, files, links, shortcuts, text or groups. Rings, slots and designs live in Settings.

Can I change how it looks?

Yes. Pick from seven designs and three materials: Plain, Frost Glass and Liquid Glass.

      What does Qark mean?

Qark is Albanian for circle or ring.

      Is Qark free?

Qark includes a 3 Day Free Trial. After that you can buy the lifetime license.

      Is Qark a subscription?

No. It is a one time purchase with no recurring payment.

How long does the license last?

      The license is lifetime.

      Can I get a refund?

Refunds are considered in limited cases, such as a duplicate payment or a defect that stops Qark doing its core job. Try the 3 day free trial first. See the Refund Policy.

How many Macs can I use Qark on?

The lifetime license supports up to 2 Macs.

Why does macOS warn me when I first open Qark?

This early build is not yet notarized by Apple, so macOS does not recognise the developer. Drag Qark to Applications, then right-click it and choose Open the first time. If macOS still blocks it, allow it in System Settings, Privacy & Security. Only download Qark from this page.

What do I need to run Qark?

A Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 27 or later. Intel Macs are not supported.
